On December 1, 2022, at approximately 11:55 pm, Grand Rapids RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 6, located one kilometre south of Grand Rapids.
Officers arrived on scene and observed that a tandem gravel truck, heading northbound, had entered the ditch and was lying on its side.
The driver and lone occupant, a 61-year-old male from Grand Rapids, was pronounced deceased on scene.
Grand Rapids RCMP continue to investigate.
