Motorcycle flees from Harbour Grace RCMP in dangerous manner, police seek public’s assistance identifying driver

Harbour Grace RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the driver of a motorcycle that failed to stop for police on May 3, 2022. The motorcycle fled from police in a dangerous manner, passing multiple vehicles and failing to stop at traffic lights.

Leading up to the attempted traffic stop, police received multiple reports of a motorcycle matching the description driving in a dangerous manner in the areas of Carbonear and Harbour Grace. In the interest of public safety, officers did not pursue the motorcycle, which was last seen driving onto the Veterans Memorial Highway.

The motorcycle is described as a white with red trim and is a sports-style motorcycle (lean over). The driver is believed to be a male and was wearing a red and blue wind breaker jacket.
