RCMP seeking public’s assistance identifying person and vehicle of interest

The Campbellton RCMP is seeking the public's assistance to identify the driver of a vehicle of interest in connection with an incident in Campbellton, N.B.

The incident occurred on July 1, 2022, between 9 and 10 p.m. near Riverside Park and the Memorial Regional Civic Centre on Water Street. During the time of the incident there was an event taking place in the area.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a man, between 40 and 50 years of age. The vehicle is described as a dark coloured late-model car with an older body style, similar to a classic muscle car, with a bench seat in the front.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and who may have photos or videos, anyone who was driving in the area who may have dash cam footage, and nearby businesses or homes that may have surveillance footage from the evening of July 1, to contact the Campbellton RCMP at 506-789-6000.
