Spruce Plains RCMP respond to fatal two-vehicle collision

At approximately 4:55 am this morning, Spruce Plains RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 16, located between Road 74W and 75W which is approximately 21 kilometres east of Neepawa.

Officers arrived on scene to find two pickup trucks had collided head-on, with one remaining on the highway and the other having entered the ditch.

Both male drivers and lone occupants, a 44-year-old from Gladstone and a 50-year-old from the Sandy Bay First Nation, were pronounced deceased on scene.


Spruce Plains RCMP continue to investigate.
