Bonavista RCMP is investigating a theft that occurred at a commercial work site located on Stock Cove Access Road, off Route 236 between Port Rexton and Knights Cove. The theft occurred sometime between November 10-13, 2023.
Approximately 2000 litres of diesel was stolen, along with quantities of oil and antifreeze, various hand tools, and gas cans.
With such a significant quantity of fuel stolen and the transportation efforts to move the fuel from this location, police suspect residents in the surrounding communities likely may have see activity related to this crime that could assist with this investigation.
