November 23, 2023, Brudenell PE – On November 23, just after midnight Kings District RCMP responded to a report of a car fire. This investigation quickly lead to the arrest of a 56 year-old Brudenell man.
RCMP responded to a fire of a passenger vehicle that occurred in the driveway of a residence in Brudenell. No one was injured in this incident. A short time after police arrived at the scene a Brudenell man was safely arrested for arson.
Kenneth Peardon of Brudenell has been charged with a one count of Arson and one count of uttering threats. He has been held in custody and will appear in court later today to answer to these charges.
The Montague Fire Department responded to the fire and rendered the scene safe.
