There has been a police presence in the area of Massey Drive in Corner Brook today in relation to a report of a disturbance at a residence early this morning and then the report of a firearm found outside of the same residence later in the day. The firearm, which was later determined to be stolen, was seized immediately by police.
Corner Brook RCMP has identified a suspect and charges are anticipated.
There were no reports of shots fired and there is no current risk to the public.
