On April 28, 2023, at approximately 3:20 pm, Dauphin RCMP received a report of a male wanted on warrants in Grandview, Manitoba. Police patrolled the area and located the male, who fled through back lanes and around fences.
RCMP Police Service Dog Marook was deployed to track the suspect. Marook located the male a short distance away hiding in hedges. Officers took Brandon McKay, 28, into custody.
McKay had two warrants for his arrest for Assault and Failure to Attend Court. He was also breaching a court order and was charged with Resisting Arrest. McKay was remanded.
