Dauphin RCMP investigate shooting

On February 15, 2023, at approximately 11:25 pm, RCMP responded to a report of a shooting on Jackson Street, in Dauphin.

Two adult males were walking on Jackson Street, near Lilly Avenue, when they heard shots fired and one of the males realized he had been shot.

The 18-year-old male was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The other male a 19-year-old, was not injured.

Officers immediately attended and patrols were made.

Officers secured the scene and Police Dog Services along with Forensic Identification Services were deployed.
RCMP are looking for anyone who saw a vehicle or suspicious person(s) in the area at that time or who may have information to assist with the investigation.
