On Jan. 18, 2023, High River RCMP located a stolen vehicle near a High River residence. Officers subsequently located three individuals who had outstanding warrants from three different Alberta jurisdictions. A search warrant was granted for the residence. The vehicle was located near. Subsequently, the three individuals were jointly charged with:
- Possession of a Prohibited Weapon x 2 (two firearms located in the residence)
- Possession of a Prohibited Device (silencer)
- Possession of Break in Instruments
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x3
After a judicial interim hearing, a 45-year-old individual, of no fixed address, was remanded into custody. Next court appearance is Feb. 27, 2023, at Okotoks provincial court.
After a judicial interim hearing, a 50-year-old individual, of no fixed address, was released with conditions. Next court appearance is Feb. 10, 2023, at Okotoks provincial court.
After a judicial interim hearing, a 58-year-old individual, a resident of High River, was released with conditions. Next court appearance is Feb. 10, 2023, at Okotoks provincial court.
