The Codiac Regional RCMP has arrested Mitchell Keenan, a 32-year-old man from Moncton, N.B., who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large.
On January 3, 2023, he failed to comply with his release conditions, and a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest. He had been serving jail time for theft under $5000, theft of a motor vehicle, break and enter with intent, assault, and mischief.
On January 13, members of the Codiac Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) arrested Mitchell Keenan. He remains in police custody to serve the remainder of his sentence.
The investigation is ongoing.
