February 1, 2023
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

News release

Between January 31 at 10:40 a.m. and February 1 at 6:48 a.m., RCMP officers responded to seven motor vehicle collisions across Prince Edward Island.

One person suffered minor injuries, but most incidents left drivers and passengers uninjured.

Road conditions appear to have played a factor in the collisions.

The RCMP continues to remind Islanders to drive according to weather and road conditions, especially when snow and ice may be forming on the roadways.
