Update: RCMP seek public’s help to identify a person of interest following mail theft

Update April 3, 2023: The individual who police were looking to identify in relation to a theft of mail in Moncton, N.B. has been identified. The police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify a person of interest following a theft of mail in Moncton, N.B.

On March 2, 2023, between the hours of 9 and 9:30 a.m., a woman entered an apartment building on Pleasant Street, in Moncton, and stole a number of packages and government envelopes from the mail area.

The RCMP are releasing surveillance images of the suspect and are hoping that information from the public may help identify her or provide additional information to help the investigation.

Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photos, or who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
