35-year-old man dies following single-vehicle crash

A 35-year-old man from Tower Hill, N.B., has died following a single all-terrain vehicle crash in Rollingdam.

On May 17, 2024, at approximately 4 p.m., members of the St. George RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single ATV crash on Sorrel Ridge Road in the community of Rollingdam. The driver and sole occupant of the ATV died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver failed to negotiate a turn, and struck rocks. Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.

Members of the Rollingdam Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick also attended the scene. A member of the New Brunswick Coroner's Office attended the scene and is assisting with the ongoing investigation. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the man's exact cause of death.
