On July 20, 2023, Didsbury RCMP received a report of a sexual assault involving a minor that occurred on July 19, 2023, at a cabaret (after party) following the Dog Pound Rodeo. This incident occurred on or within walking distance of the Dog Pound Rodeo grounds.
The suspect was believed to have gone by the name of "Carter" and is described as follows:
- Fair complexion and clean shaven
- Slightly obese
- Approximately 6 feet tall
- Dirty blonde hair; longer (maybe a mullet)
- Wearing a light-coloured button up shirt, blue jeans and boots
