Iqaluit RCMP execute search warrant

On January 19, 2024, Iqaluit RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) at a residence in Apex. Three males were arrested in connection to a cocaine trafficking investigation, two were charged and the one was released without process.

One male (41) was charged with Section 5(2) CDSA, possession for the purposes of trafficking and Section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code, possession of property obtained by crime.

One male (37) was charged with Section 4(1) CDSA, possession of a substance included in Schedule I.

They will be appearing in the Nunavut Court of Justice on February 5, 2024 in Iqaluit.
