On March 13, 2024, at approximately 8:10 a.m., Milestone RCMP received a report of a multi-vehicle collision on Highway #39, north of Rouleau.
Officers responded immediately along with local EMS. Investigation determined two semis collided. Eight additional vehicles then collided with the semis.
The driver of one of the semis was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature. Other drivers involved were treated on scene for injuries described as non-life threatening.
Due to the collision, Highway #39 was closed for several hours. Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan, Moose Jaw RCMP and White Butte RCMP assisted at the scene.
Milestone RCMP continue to investigate.
