April 19, 2024, Grand River, PEI - Prince District RCMP is investigating a fatal single vehicle crash that occurred in Grand River.
On April 18, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Prince District RCMP, Wellington Fire Department and EMS responded to a single vehicle crash on Route12 in Grand River. RCMP officers learned that a car had been travelling south on Route 12 when it left the road.
The driver, a 45-year-old Grand River woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Provincial Coroner attended the scene, this investigation is ongoing.
Route 12 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
