RCMP seeking public’s help following armed robbery

The Saint-Quentin RCMP is now releasing surveillance footage photos, and is asking for the public's help in relation to an armed robbery at a residence in the community.

On November 19, 2023, at approximately 8:40 p.m., members of the Saint-Quentin RCMP detachment responded to a report of an armed robbery at a residence on Heritage Street in the community. Two individuals, one of whom was armed with a weapon, entered the residence and demanded money from the homeowner. The individuals fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money before police arrived.

The first individual is described as being a Caucasian man, with a medium build and approximately five feet eight inches (173 centimetres) tall. The second individual is described as being a man, wearing all black with a black face covering. Both individuals spoke in French. Both individuals are believed to be in their 40's.

On December 2, 2023, police obtained a composite sketch of one of the individuals.

Police are now releasing surveillance footage photos of three vehicles that were involved in the incident, in hopes that someone may recognize them. The first vehicle is described as potentially being a late 2000's to early 2010's light-coloured Dodge Dakota. The second vehicle is described as a late 1990's to early 2000's light-coloured SUV. The third vehicle is described as a blue SUV.
