RCMP seeking public’s help following break, enter and theft

The Sunny Corner RCMP Detachment is asking for the public's help to identify an individual in connection with a break, enter and theft in Wayerton, N.B.

The incident is believed to have occurred on May 20, 2024, at approximately 1 p.m., at an industrial site on Route 430 in the community. One individual forcefully gained entry to the site and made multiple failed attempts to break into a building. The suspect stole a fuel trailer and fled the scene.

Police are now releasing surveillance footage photos of the man, his truck, a black Dodge RAM 1500, and the stolen trailer in hopes that the public may be able to assist the RCMP in this investigation.

The individual is described as being a man with a small build, wearing dark coloured jeans, grey shirt, black ball cap, a black ski mask, and safety boots.

Anyone who recognizes the individual, the vehicle, knows the whereabouts of the stolen trailer, or who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Sunny Corner RCMP at 506-843-9400.
