On April 19, 2024, as a result of an investigation carried out by RCMP 'V' Division Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Section and members of the Sanikiluaq Detachment, Danny Paul Eyaituk, 38, was charged with first degree murder, after his wife Annie Tracy Oqaituq, 36, was found deceased in their Sanikiluaq home.
Danny Paul Eyaituk's will appear in court on April 23, 2024, in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
