Following a number of recent reports of traffic violations, RCMP officers in Clarenville and Bonavista increased traffic enforcement efforts and seized thirteen vehicles over a five-day span.
During this time, four drivers were found driving while suspended, another four were found driving without a driver's licence, eleven drivers had no insurance, and four were driving with expired registration. Tickets were issued and vehicles were seized where appropriate.
Police apprehended one individual for impaired driving by alcohol and two other drivers were issued seven-day licence suspensions for being above provincial legislation with respect to alcohol.
