Bay St. George RCMP investigates collision between SUV and pedestrian in Stephenville

Bay St. George RCMP is investigating a collision between a SUV and a pedestrian that occurred on December 16, 2021, in Stephenville.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., police received the report of the collision that occurred while a woman was crossing the road on West Street, near St. Stephen's Parish. Police, fire and ambulance attended the scene. The 42-year-old woman received minor injuries and was transported for medical attention.

Speed and impairment were not factors in the collision. The investigation is continuing.
