Mount William male arrested for impaired driving

Yesterday at approximately 5:45 p.m. Pictou District RCMP responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver parked on the side of Granton Abercrombie Side Road.

The driver, a 45-year-old male from Mount William was found slumped over the wheel. He was arrested without incident for impaired operation of a Motor Vehicle. The male provided breath samples of 350 and 340 mg% in 100 milliliters of blood.

The driver is facing charges of Impaired Driving. The driver was released from custody and will appear virtually in Pictou Provincial Court on April 6, 2021.
